Pashupatina Hardware Design and Manufacturing is a company that is committed to designing quality custom door and cabinet hardware. Our clients are oftentimes scavengers of rich and rare antiques and one of a kind pieces. Understanding this need to have something of one’s own, keeps us thriving to accomplish the impossible. Our manufacturing process involves casting by the lost wax method, also known as investment casting. The hardware is cast in a variety of metals including yellow brass and bronze. Patina finishes range from light to dark tones. Custom finishes include gold, silver and nickel electro-plating. Each piece is individually crafted. After the piece is designed and sculpted, a mold is produced for wax casting. The wax pulled from the mold is then thoroughly cleaned and inspected. It is then sent to a foundry to be cast in either brass or bronze. The result is a rough cast which needs to be surfaced, machined, polished and finished to client specifications. There are many other services which we offer our clients. We can reproduce antique hardware especially when it’s quantities are so limited; we can refinish hardware for that final touch which makes all the difference or even turn your sketches and ideas into something real. Pashupatina also provides a collection of hardware which we designed. This collection enables us to convey the quality of our work to our clients.
